Joe Rogan’s Wife Meeting the Famous Host
Joe Rogan’s wife, Jessica Ditzel, met her future husband at a small bar where she used to work as a cocktail waitress in the early 2000s. The two talked, took a liking to each other, and started dating.
I know the story sounds like it came out of an old 90s movie, but that’s what happened. What sold Rogan the most was that Ditzel had an excellent sense of humor.
The comedian himself admitted she’s as funny as he is. And you know how important a sense of humor is to a comedian.
Despite his love for turning heads, Ditzel’s relationship with Rogan went as smoothly as it could.
A couple of years into their relationship, they were already living together, and in 2008, they welcomed their first daughter, Lola.

The first plot twist in this relationship was when Rogan and Ditzel tied the knot in 2009. What’s wrong with that? Well, if you’ve followed the podcast host for long enough, you know he’s always been against the idea of marriage. So, what changed?
Lola. Rogan thought Ditzel’s pregnancy was a much bigger sign of commitment. So, signing a legal piece of paper shouldn’t be that big of a deal. Sure, he still publicly called the marriage institution dumb, but he’s also admitted to being happily married.
Despite being the wife of the most famous podcast hosts in history, Ditzel prefers to lead a private life away from the cameras and headlines. Even her social media accounts are private.

Despite being anti-marriage in the past, Rogan has always been open about wanting kids. That’s why Lola wasn’t the last child the couple welcomed throughout their marriage.
In 2010, they welcomed their second daughter, Rosey. So, Ditzel and Rogan were enjoying a loving marriage with their two beautiful children. Ditzel also had a daughter, Kayla, from a previous marriage, whom Rogan later adopted.
Building an Open Relationship
Ditzel and Rogan have made sure they were as open with their children as possible, no matter how awkward the topic might be. In 2024, the UFC commentator told journalist David Holthouse that he and his wife discussed the death penalty with their children.
Apparently, one of his daughters is against it, except when it comes to child predators. Those should receive the death sentence.
Look, love or hate Rogan, you have to admit he fulfills his husbandly and fatherly duties properly. It’s no wonder he’s shared various tips about raising children throughout the years.
How Does Joe Rogan Talk About His Wife?
Rogan has been secretive about his marriage, but he’s talked about his wife in public several times throughout the years. So, what did he say?
As stoic as he seems, he had a lot of nice things to say about his wife. In his interview with Lex Fridman, he said that his wife was nice and kind, and that was the person he wanted to be with.
It also seems like she’s as tough as she is nice. In one of his podcast episodes, Rogan said:
“I like a gal who could help you move a couch. I like ‘em sturdy. My wife does not like it when I say that about her…but she’s strong.”
It’s not a conventional way to describe a woman, but it sounds positive. Being strong and kind isn’t the only thing that attracted Rogan to Ditzel, though.
He’s talked about how they share the same values, which is always a solid foundation in every relationship: “You don’t want to be with someone who makes excuses. You don’t want to be with someone who’s lazy.”
Ultimately, if there’s one thing Rogan established about his wife, it’s that she’s made his life better.

“She’s a happy person. She’s happy to be around. That’s the kind of people you could have in your life as friends, as coworkers, as lovers, as wives, and husbands. When you find those people, your life is better.”
Wrapping Up
While we don’t know much about Joe Rogan’s wife, we know enough to realize that she’s a woman who’s put in the effort to build a happy family. She may not share her husband’s love for cameras and flashlights, but that’s probably for the best.
